John Eldridge puts it best in his book Wild at Heart when he says “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go and do that, because what the world needs is more people who are alive.”

excellent!
very nice !!
dude, I read that book once.
Amen.
interesting contrast to the last post........
Contrast?? That is what I am talking about. Why do you think that you cannot do what makes you come alive and not still hold true to your responsibilites. Live, Love, Share your world with everyone you have in your life. Find that balance and hold true to the long term commitments.
Well, I don't know who anonymous is but I hear ya Timmy. The constant battle to "be alive" both on the outside and inside your heart and soul is tough. But in the big picture it is worth the balancing act, the effort and the commitment to stay true to who you are inside while maintaing the responsibilities and accountability you have to your ultimate drivers -- God, family and friends. Lovin' your posts Tlope!

Your honesty and integrity are to be commended. Both Tracy and I are so blessed to be married to men who have these qualities - something so rare in society today
